BEIJING, Sept. 17（Xinhua）-- Shenzhen Bao‘an International Airport handled about 4.69 million passenger trips in August, up 9.2 percent year on year.
The airport registered 31,600 take-offs and landings in last month, an increase of 5.8 percent over the same period of last year, while the airport saw its cargo throughput rise 7.1 percent year on year to 110,600 tons.
In the first half of this year, the Bao'an airport reported as much as 181,000 take-offs and landings, up 2.8 percent year on year; passenger volume of 25.837 million, up 6.2 percent and cargo throughput of 588,000 tons, up 0.3 percent.
Besides, the Bao'an airport grabbed the No.2 position in the country’s top 10 airports in terms of passenger volume growth.
