BEIJING, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) -- Chinese telecom equipment maker ZTE Corp. has recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Chery Automobile in in Wuhu city, Anhui Province, according to ZTE on Tuesday.
Under the agreement, the two sides will jointly study the application scenarios of 5G in Internet of vehicles, intelligent manufacturing, and smart parks.
The two sides will also jointly explore the in-depth integration of 5G, C-V2X, cloud computing, edge computing technologies with smart driving, intelligent manufacturing, AR/VR and other technologies. They will carry out all-round cooperation in research, development, production, testing and operation of intelligent networked vehicles.
At the same time, the two sides will actively carry out the application technology research of 5G & Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) in fields such as smart factory management, smart warehousing and smart logistics. (Edited by Hu Pingchao, hupinchao@xinhua.org)
