InfoQuest (July 24, 2019) -- The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has released more convenient stock and bond financing information services with a traceability period of 10 years, in an attempt to further protect the interests of investors and offer reference for their decision-making.
Mr. Kumpol Sontanarat, assistant secretary-general of SEC, said that SEC expanded the scope of information services in some capital markets, with which users can retrieve stock and bond financing within 10 years. The information includes: detailed information of financiers, industries, name of company, and shareholder's information.
SEC has made constant efforts to develop various open data services. Users can log on the website of SEC, download open data, and access relevant data and information via SEC API. Open data and API have boosted information interconnection and enhanced the utilization rate of information. The above-mentioned information services of SEC have drawn wide attention, and many users have started to use the services.
SEC will keep improving and identifying new ways of information services, especially diversified information services. Currently, available information services involve: financing and product, mutual fund, listed company, asset acquisition, securities intermediary, auditing firm, financial consultant, various kinds of lawsuits, the practice registration of stock broker, and the fund-raising of mutual fund. All these information is provided by API and then offered to clients and public after the analysis and processing of agency investors and securities companies.
