InfoQuest (July 22, 2019) - The Trade Policy and Strategy Office (TPSO) of the Ministry of Commerce unveiled Thailand's foreign trade data in June 2019. According to the figures, the total export value was 21.4093 billion U.S. dollars, falling by 2.15 percent; the total import value reached 18.1971 billion U.S. dollars, contracting by 9.44 percent, hence a trade surplus of 3.212 billion U.S. dollars.
In the first six months (January-June) of this year, Thailand's export value was 122.9707 billion U.S. dollars, falling by 2.91 percent; the import value reached 119.0274 billion U.S. dollars, falling by 2.41 percent, hence a trade surplus of 3.943 million U.S. dollars.
