BEIJING, June 27 (Xinhua) -- Partnership among economic and financial information needs to be preserved in the context of information dissemination to promote global trade, according to Raphael Bozzolan Juan, Director of Brazil CMA News Agency, during the inaugural meeting of the Belt and Road Economic Partnership (BREIP) held in Beijing on June 27.
BREIP is initiated by Xinhua News Agency and co-founded by more than 30 institutions including well-known news agencies, information service providers, research institutions, chambers of commerce and associations from 26 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, Africa, Latin America and Oceania.
Juan delivered that the value of information takes on new significance in global market because it can be passed on to those who are capable of turning it into a profitable growth.
Meanwhile, news agencies are important for isolated audiences, together, they become essential platforms for understanding the complexity of the global economy and carry knowledge that could only be acquired locally to the various of the world, said Juan.
The importance of news agencies as promoters of economic and trade relations grows when we evaluate the dimension of business between China and Latin America and more specifically, the growing trade relationship between Chinese and Brazilians.
In addition, the priority is to ensure that there is high-quality information available on a wide range of platforms, from traditional to new and anticipating information dissemination trends, said Juan.
In addition, corporate journalism has to aim at the growth and development of commercial relations, seeking ways for a partnership that ensures dignified conditions for the economic and social development of those involved. (Edited by Jiang Feifan)
