InfoQuest, (June 21, 2019) -- The Trade Policy and Strategy Office (TPSO) under the Ministry of Commerce unveiled Thailand's international trade statistics for May. The statistics show that the export value was 21.0179 billion US dollars, falling by 5.79 percent while the forecast falling rate was 5 percent. The import value was 20.8364 billion US dollars, falling by 0.64 percent and Thailand saw a trade surplus of 181.5 million US dollars.
In the first five months of this year, Thailand's export value was 101.5613 billion US dollars, falling by 2.7 percent and the import value reached 100.8303 billion US dollars, falling by 0.99 percent. The country saw a trade surplus of 731 million US dollars.
