BEIJING, June 18 (Xinhua) -- Power Construction Corporation of China (PowerChina, 601669.SH) announced on Monday that its new contracts signed in the first five months this year valued 237.163 billion yuan in total, up 9.57 percent year on year.
This included new domestic contracts of 158.553 billion yuan, up 5.32 percent year on year, and new overseas contracts of 78.61 billion yuan, jumping 19.30 percent year on year.
The company noted in its announcement that domestic and overseas newly signed contracts concerning water conservancy and electricity business amounted to 54.83 billion yuan during the period. (Edited by Su Dan)
