BEIJING, June 3 (Xinhua) -- Any express companies operating in China must abide by Chinese laws and regulations and not damage legitimate rights and interests of Chinese clients, said Ma Junsheng, head of China’s State Post Bureau, in a recent interview with Xinhua.
Regarding to recent case of FedEx’s failing to deliver express packages to designated addresses in China, Ma said the U.S. company had disturbed market order, damaged the lawful rights and interests of its clients and violated laws and regulations governing the express industry in China.
China's relevant department has decided to file a case for investigation of FedEx, according to Ma.
China’s huge express market is developing fast with great potential, and is open for foreign companies to come under the premise of abiding Chinese laws and regulations, said Ma. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
