BEIJING, May 16 (Xinhua) – The Yangtze River Delta G60 sci-tech corridor artificial intelligence (AI) industrial alliance was established in Shanghai on Wednesday, the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News reported.
This is the sixth industrial alliance established in G60 sci-tech corridor following the previous five of new materials, robots, smart driving, new energy and intelligent connected vehicle set up since November last year, according to the report.
Insiders noted that the move manifested the country’s intensified efforts to promote the integrated industrial development of the Yangtze River Delta region.
Next, the Yangtze River Delta G60 sci-tech corridor biological medicine industrial alliance is scheduled to be set up in Hangzhou in late May, said an official, adding that the country will quicken the pace to facilitate the integrated development of advanced manufacturing industrial clusters through the establishment of about 7-8 industrial alliances.
It is learned that the G60 sci-tech corridor AI industrial alliance consists of 119 enterprises and public institutions, universities and research institutes.
