BEIRUT, May 6 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Wang Kejian said on Monday that China is ready to help Lebanon in the development of its southern cities and towns.
The Chinese side is ready to draft strategies with Lebanese officials aimed at developing southern Lebanon, the ambassador said.
His remarks came during a dialogue session organized by the Arab Chinese Cooperation and Development Association in cooperation with Kamel Jaber Cultural and Social Center.
Wang said that the Chinese contribution to such strategies will help Lebanon benefit from the Chinese expertise in different areas.
Meanwhile, MP Yassine Jaber praised China's keenness on maintaining strong ties with Lebanon.
