BEIJING, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Digital Tech Lighting the Silk Road, a Chinese-English album focusing on international cooperation on digital Silk Road, debuts on the ongoing Second Belt and Road Forum (BRF) for International Cooperation in Beijing.
Sourcing from Xinhua Silk Road Database and co-compiled by Department of Innovation and High-Tech Development under the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Bureau of Information Technology Development, Cyberspace Administration of China, and China Economic Information Service of Xinhua News Agency, the bilingual album presents nine cases concerning the building of digital Silk Road, telling the irresistible trend of digital economy development and globalization, people’s aspiration for sharing knowledge and technology, as well as good wishes for better life and fast economic development.
As showed by well-selected stories in the album, such as the “Global journey” of mobile payment, Digital Museum: when ancient culture revived by modern technology, DHgate.com: a “pathfinder” in China-Turkey cross-border e-commerce cooperation, in vivid texts and photos, the construction of digital Silk Road has injected new vitality into the Belt and Road construction and the implementation of projects has made information upgrading and interconnection a reality.
Digital Silk Road construction calls upon more countries and social efforts’ participation and deeper commitment in terms of policy exchanges, dialogues and complementary cooperation, said an official with the NDRC.
