SHANGHAI, April 23 (Xinhua) -- Two bourses and two insurance firms from China and Switzerland have signed respectively their cooperation agreements on Tuesday.

An official from SSE said Switzerland is an important finance center of Europe and strengthening cooperation with Swiss capital market is a practical step for boosting two-way opening-up of China’s capital market.
For a long time, SSE and SIX have kept in touch over potential cooperation opportunities.
Earlier in May 2003, China’s securities watchdog - China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and Swiss Federal Banking Commission concluded a MOU on cooperation in securities regulation and supervision. SSE and SIX signed a MOU about information sharing, personnel exchange, and joint development of products in June 2015. (Edited by Duan Jing, duanjing@xinhua.org)
