BEIJING, April 24 (Xinhua) – Suning Holding Group’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) subsidiary has signed a two-year strategic cooperation agreement with U.S. beverage giant Coca-cola on Monday, reported the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securties News.
The two parties have agreed to carry out all-round cooperation in product sales, marketing resources integration and sharing, brand promotion, Internet big data, etc., in a bid to achieve higher sales growth together.
Under the agreement, Coca-cola will preferentially provide Suning its latest and tailor-made products. At the same time, based on Suning’s big data, Coca-cola could use precise face images to segment customer market in a bid to meet people’s personalized needs.
Suning's advantages in the integration of online and offline channels have attracted the attention of Coca-Cola, especially its smart retail outlets, and Suning’s bricks-and-mortar retail network will help Coca-Cola to accelerate product promotion in crowded areas, such as CBD, communities, subway stations.
In the future, the two sides will launch more cooperation around Suning’s smart retail outlets in an attempt to win more consumers' recognition. (Edited by Yang Yifan, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
