BEIJING, April 17 (Xinhua) -- As of April 12, 72 companies had applied to list on the new science and technology innovation board involving total fund of 60.04 billion yuan, and 35 of them had been inquired.
Among them, 18 companies are from communications and electronic equipment manufacturing, 16 from software and information technology service, 15 from specialized equipment manufacturing industry and eight from pharmaceutical industry.
From the amount of fund raised by companies, Ucloud, a cloud computing service platform, will raise the most amount of 4.75 billion yuan, while the LongRuan Technologies will raise the least amount of 0.26 billion yuan.
According to the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the new science and technology innovation board focuses on companies in high-tech and strategically emerging sectors such as new generation information technology, advanced equipment and new materials. (Edited by Tong Wei, tongwei@xinhua.org)
