BEIJING, March 28(Xinhua) --The departure of Xi'an- Ningbo, Xi'an- Qingdao land-sea transportation trains on Monday marked that Xi'an has taken substantial steps in the construction of land - sea transportation corridors, and laid a solid foundation for forging Xi'aninto a China-Europe freight train distribution center, reported the 21st Century Business Herald.
In 2018, The Chang'an China-Europe freight train , which departed from Xi'an, has made 1,235 trips, ranking top in terms of freight volume, heavy load rate and actual carrying capacity nationwide.
Since it was launched in 2013, the freight train has run on 12 international routes, covering the entire Central Asia and Europe, with direct routes linking Duisburg, Hamburg, Hungary, Budapest, Finland, etc.
It is reported that the opening of Xi'an-Ningbo and Xi'an-Qingdao land - sea transportation trains will efficiently promote goods distribution in Xi'an and connect Xi'an with countries along Belt & Road routes.
