BEIJING, March 27 (Xinhua) -- China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec), one of China's largest oil refiners, has recently released a report on China's energy and petrochemical development for 2019 in Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia.
It is the first time for Sinopec to release a research report on the development of China's energy and petrochemical industry overseas.
The report covers three major sections including economy, industry and hot topics, analyzing the characteristics of China's energy and petrochemical market in 2018 and forecasting the industrial development trend in 2019.
It is noted that Saudi Arabia is one of the world's largest oil exporters and China is one of the largest importers of crude oil. The release ceremony is of great significance to enhancing the cooperation in the field of energy between China and Saudi Arabia, according to Sun Xiansheng, Secretary General of International Energy Forum (IEF).
