Consul-General of the Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore, Gan Teng Kiat visited Tongwei on January 13, accompaneid by President of Tongwei Solar (Hefei, Chengdu) Co., Ltd. Xie Yi.
Consulate-General Gan Teng Kiat arrived at the S1 battery production factory Tongwei Solar (Chendgu) Co., Ltd. to firstly learn details of production process, technology, conversion rate and other conditions of Tongwei solar cells.
During the tour, President Xie Yi introduced details of Tongwei Solar’s overall operation situation, future development plan and plant production capacity to Consulate-General Gan Teng Kiat.
Subsequently, Consulate-General Gan Teng Kiat visited “fishery plus solar” intelligent operation center at Tongwei International Center. He learned about the operation mode of “fishery plus solar” and praised the projects for perfectly combining agriculture and solar industry.
Consulate-General Gan Teng Kiat was especially interested in the dual main core business development mode of Tongwei. He highly appreciated Tongwei Solar (Chengdu) for completing construction and starting production in 7 months and the strict management and high degree of automation of the S1 solar battery plant.
