BEIJING, March 8 (Xinhua) -- China will press ahead with a healthy and ecological aquaculture system and strive to develop high-quality, distinctive, green and ecological aquatic products, according to the fishery bureau under China's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
By 2022, the demonstration area of healthy aquaculture will reach above 65 percent, and the pass rate of aquatic product spot checks from the original production places will remain above 98 percent.
China will make great efforts to push forward the healthy development of aquaculture industry, develop aquaculture demonstrations, promote the popularization of vaccine immunization and step up ecological prevention and control measures, according to opinions jointly issued by China's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and nine other departments recently.
