BEIJING, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) – South China coastal city Sanya-located Hainan FTZ headquarters economy and CBD areas quoted for the first time using rights of five land lots totaling 86.57 mu or 5.77 ha for sale Saturday.
In a move to craft new star business office and consumption zones, the area, a key part of the China (Hainan) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ), plans 286,000 square meters of entire construction areas on the five land lots, the first batch of the kind, and allows the maximum height of buildings to be built at 170 meters.
As a local official introduces, qualified enterprises are required to be companies listed on the latest Fortune Global 500 list, and at the same time be capable of developing or in ownership of a large number of shopping malls in China.
Currently, a total of 45 enterprise headquarters, regional headquarters and business segment headquarters are interested in start headquarter-type business units in Sanya. Among them, 16 ones have registered for business establishment, of which eight newly-settled ones received 9.66 billion yuan of revenues in 2018. (Edited by Duan Jing, duanjing@xinhua.org)
