BEIJING, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- Chinese internet firm Tencent invested in more than 700 companies over the past 11 years, China Securities Journal quoted Liu Zhiping, president of Tencent, as saying.
According to liu, 63 of its portfolio companies are now listed, and 122 each valued at more than 1 billion U.S. dollars have grown to corporate entities over the past 11 years.
Liu also said that a total of 16 companies Tencent invested in went public in 2018 and it will not scale back its investment in 2019.
