BEIJING, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- China's foreign direct investment expanded 4.8 percent year on year to reach 84.18 billion yuan (about 12.41 billion U.S. dollars) in January, the Ministry of Commerce announced Thursday.
A total of 4,646 new foreign-invested firms were set up in the first month of 2019, down 10.6 percent year on year.
