BEIJING, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- An all-cargo air route between Xi’an city of Northwest China’s Shaanxi province and North China’s Tianjin municipality was opened on Tuesday.
This is the first all-cargo air route jointly launched in 2019 by Airport New City in Xixian new area of Xi’an and China West Airport Group.
Running six flights every Tuesday to Sunday, the new route is Shaanxi’s most frequent cargo air line by week.
This cargo route makes it possible for goods from North China to be transported by air through Xi’an to South Asia and Europe.
Having launched 19 all-cargo air routes with six of them being international lines, Xi’an has further enhanced its status as a Belt and Road aviation hub. (Edited by Su Dan, Niu Huizhe)
