BEIJING, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- ZTE Corporation (000063.SZ) has successfully completed 5G base station NR test under the 2.6GHz frequency band, with test single-user downloading peak rate peaking the industry by 3.2Gbps, according to a report by Xinhua-run China Securities Journal.
The test adopted the 5G Massive MIMO 64T64R base station equipment and test terminal introduced by ZTE that support 2.6GHZ frequency band. The successful test proved the maturity of ZTE 5G system and the company’s support capability for 5G commercial deployment.
So far, ZTE has successfully completed the NSA and SA laboratory and field tests of the third phase of China's 5G technology R&D test, including all test frequency bands, 2.6GHz, 3.5GHz and 4.9GHz, covering all test items and scenarios. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
