BEIJING, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- Hubei Engineering Co., Ltd of Power Construction Corporation of China (PowerChina) (601669.SH), has recently completed the construction of two electric transmission lines in Egypt, according to the company's website.
Located in the Delta region in northern Egypt, the two transmission lines have a total length of 174 km, accounting for about one third of the company's power line construction in Egypt.
The two electric transmission lines belong to the EETC 500 KV transmission project, which is the Egypt’s largest transmission line built by Hubei Engineering Co., Ltd. The implementation of the two transmission lines will further optimize the electric power network composition of Nile Delta region in Egypt, greatly improve the country’s electricity efficiency, and boost the economic and electric grid development of Egypt.
