BEIJING, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- China-Uganda cooperation has promising prospects with the implementation of new cooperative projects, according to Chinese enterprises on the annual meeting of chamber of commerce in Uganda held recently.
An enterprise representative from China Communications Construction Company, Ltd. (CCCC) appreciated the efforts of the chamber of commerce in 2018 for the communication and cooperation between Chinese enterprises and local government, as well as the accomplishment in public sectors.
Zhao Xiufen, economic and commercial counselor in the Chinese Embassy in Uganda, emphasized the fruitful outcome of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) held in September 2018 and expressed optimism about the future of bilateral cooperation.
The chamber of commerce of Chinese enterprises in Uganda, established in 2008, has 121 members in engineering contracting, energy, industrial parks, manufacturing, logistics and other industries. (Edited by Wu Shuang, wushuang2018@xinhua.org)
