BEIJING, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- The year 2018 saw the tenth year in a row that China became Brazil's largest trading partner with Brazil’s exports to China reaching 66.6 billion U.S. dollars, up 32.2 percent year on year, according to a report recently released by Ministry of the Economy of Brazil.
Brazil's exports to China accounted for 27.8 percent of Brazil's total exports. In terms of commodities, soybeans, crude oil, iron ore, beef, chicken and cotton are Brazil's main export commodities to China.
According to the statistics, in 2018, Brazil's import and export trade totaled 420.7 billion U.S. dollars, up 13.7 percent year on year. Among them, exports volume was 239.5 billion U.S. dollars, up 9.6 percent year on year. (Edited by Bao Nuomin, baonuomin@xinhua.org)
