Chinese firms ink deal for hydropower station expansion project in Central Africa

Abstract : China’s HNAC Technology Co., Ltd. (300490.SH) announced on Tuesday that it signed a contract with China Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd. (600068.SH) on the expansion project of a hydropower station in Central Africa Republic.

BEIJING, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- China’s HNAC Technology Co., Ltd. (300490.SH) announced on Tuesday that it signed a contract with China Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd. (600068.SH) on the expansion project of a hydropower station in Central Africa Republic, reported the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News.

The project is under the power grid interconnection project between Central Africa Republic and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The value of the contract is approximately 14.65 million U.S. dollars, or about 100 million yuan. (Edited by Su Dan, Niu Huizhe)
