BEIJING, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- China's top economic planner, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) on Wednesday approved nine rail transit projects in Shanghai, with the total investment estimated at about 298.348 billion yuan.
The planning period for the nine rail transit projects is from 2018 to 2023.
The total length of the above projects is 286.1 kilometers. After the completion of these projects, Shanghai will see 27 rail transit lines with a length of 1,154 kilometers (including 342-km municipal railways). (Edited by Hu Pingchao, Zhang Haoran)
