BEIJING, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- JD.com has upgraded its original Internet of Things (IoT) business to Xiaojingyu AIoT system, and will cooperate with Huawei on IoT, said Zhang Chen, CTO of China’s e-commerce giant JD.com on Tuesday.
According to Zhang, the Xiaojingyu AIoT system will launch an intelligent platform integrating such technologies as IoT, artificial intelligence and big data, sharing the entire industrial chain capability of JD.com. The company will also develop a series of intellectual products for customers.
JD.com signed a strategic agreement with Huawei consumer business group on the same day to realize wide interconnection of products, as well as platform integration.
In addition, both sides will share data, channels and logistics, set standards and norms of smart home industry at national level, as well as build national-level joint laboratories. (Edited by Wu Shuang, wushuang2018@xinhua.org)
