SHANGHAI, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- A photo contest displaying development achievements of Huangpu District, east China's Shanghai, will kick off on Friday.
Launched jointly by China Economic Information Service (CEIS) of Xinhua News Agency and the government authority of Huangpu District, the contest will collect photo works by photographers worldwide before January 15, 2019.
It is reported that the contest aims to vividly record the development achievements of Huangpu District in fields of economy, society and people's livelihood. The content of the works may vary from the famous landmarks in Huangpu District to the red tourism resources in the district.
The requirements and relevant information of the contest are as follows:
1. There are no restrictions on color of the photo works and each participant shall submit no more than 10 photos (photo groups). The photo group shall be no more than six photos. A single piece of work is no less than 3MB (JPG format).
2. Participants can submit photo works to huangpusy@163.com or mail the photo work as a DVD to the address (No. 62, Hengshan Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai, the Huangpu photo contest secretariat, postcode: 200031).
3. Awards: One first prize: RMB5,000
Three second prize: RMB3,000
Five third prize: RMB1,000
30 for candidates: RMB500
