BEIJING, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) – China’s Beijing is expected to achieve 100 billion yuan in scale of the intelligent connected vehicle (ICV) and related industries by 2022, according to a white paper about the ICV industry released by local authority on Sunday.
Beijing will intensify efforts to form a complete ICV technical system meeting requirements of the advanced automatic driving (L4 level) by 2022, said the white paper.
ICV integrates modern communication and network technology to realize intelligent information exchange and sharing between vehicles, people, roads and clouds, with advantages of safety and efficiency.
