Some 150 international investors are expected in the German city of Dresden on Wednesday and Thursday for a start-up conference.
Forty start-ups are also expected to attend the so-called Hightech Venture Days, according to organizers. Six of the new business ventures stem from the German state of Saxony, of which Dresden is the capital.
The two-day event is meant to offer start-up founders the opportunity to network with investors and acquire money for a possible expansion.
The conference focuses on new development in the high-tech sector and first took place in 2013.
