China Southern Airlines launches direct flight from Shenyang to LA

BEIJING -- China Southern Airlines will open a new flight connecting Shenyang city of southeastern Liaoning province to Los Angeles of the United States starting December 18, the company announced on Tuesday.

It will be the first direct international flight of the carrier from the northeastern provinces to not only the US, but also the world, according to the airline. (Source: China Daily)
