The German Bundesliga football team VfB Stuttgart has launched a new partnership with the Chinese Super League club Guangzhou R&F. Their cooperation started on Wednesday in the city of Guangzhou and is initially foreseen to last five years, VfB Stuttgart said.
"From now we'll be working to ensure that R&F benefits from our expertise in the future. At the same time, we'll be looking closely at what we can derive from it," said VfB Stuttgart Executive Committee member Thomas Hitzlsperger, who travelled to China for the occasion.
The partnership is meant to cover all facets, activity spheres and business areas of professional football, according to VfB Stuttgart.
