BEIJING, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Given China's economic achievements over the past decades, Chinese enterprises are particularly welcome to invest in Ukraine, said Yuriy Tkachenko, governor of Cherkasy Oblast in Ukraine, at an international economic forum held in the city of Cherkasy, the administrative center of the oblast on October 11.
Chinese enterprises have excellent technologies as well as abundant experience in such areas as grains and beans farming, special vehicles manufacturing, food and agricultural products processing and chemical industry, which are pillar industries of Cherkasy Oblast. Thus, Ukraine expects deep cooperation with China, Tkachenko stated.
Du Wei, Chinese ambassador to Ukraine who attended the forum, said that many economic projects in the oblast are attractive. China will encourage enterprises to carry out field trips in Ukraine and seek opportunities for cooperation. (Edited by Gu Shanshan)
