In the German state of Thuringia, more money is again being invested in new buildings such as factories, warehouses, day-care centres and schools.
In the first eight months of this year, 895 non-residential projects with planned investments of 462 million euros have been approved, the Thuringian State Office for Statistics announced on Tuesday in the city of Erfurt.
That is an increase of 63 million euros over the same period last year.
A total of 143 million euros are to be used for 128 new factory and workshop buildings, while 55 million euros will go to storage and logistics buildings, and just under 86 million euros for schools, sports facilities or recreational facilities.
