BEIJING, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) – Northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province saw main business revenue and gross industrial output value of the sizable new material enterprises both achieve a year-on-year growth of more than 30 percent in the first half of the year.
Meanwhile, industrial added value of these enterprises with main business revenue above 20 million yuan annually increased more than 14 percent year on year during the period.
In recent years, the new material industry in Heilongjiang Province has been developing rapidly, with an industrial cluster of advanced steel materials, advanced non-ferrousmetal materials, advanced polymer materials, high-performance fibers and composite materials, and new graphite materials taking shape.
According to the Committee of Industry and Information Technology of Heilongjiang Province, the local government will accelerate industrial upgrading of advanced basic materials, application of key strategic materials, and layout of new cutting-edge materials.(Edited by Wu Shuang, wushuang2018@xinhua.org; Hu Pingchao, hupingchao@xinhua.org)
