BEIJING, Aug.31 (Xinhua) -- China’s trust asset scale shrank quarter on quarter in the second quarter of this year, the first consecutive decline since 2010, official data showed.
By the end of the second quarter this year, outstanding trust assets totaled 24.27 trillion yuan, down 1.34 trillion yuan from 25.61 trillion at the end of first quarter this year, showed the data from the China Trustee Association.
The year-on-year growth rate started to decline since the fourth quarter of 2017. The rate in the past three quarters is 29.81 percent, 16.60 percent and 4.88 percent, respectively. (Edited by Yang Yifan, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
