BEIJING , Aug.23 (Xinhua) -- Beijing will allocate nearly 5,000 public rental apartments to eligible families, according to Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-rural Development.
Beijing is stepping up efforts to accelerate the construction of affordable housing program and at the same time speed up the supply and distribution of public rental housings.
It is learned that by the end of this year, Beijing will start to allocate nearly 10,000 units of public rental housing in a bid to meet the needs of low-income people. (Edited by Yang Yifan, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
