BEIJING, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) --- China has established agricultural cooperative relations with more than 50 countries and regions, with nearly 300 Chinese enterprises developing agricultural resources in about 46 countries and regions mainly in Southeast Asia, Russia, Latin America and Africa, according to an official guideline on oversears investment issued Friday.
The guideline on sustainable overseas investment in agriculture is jointly issued by China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation, Research Center for Rural Economy and CHNC Agribusiness Research Institution Co. on. It is aimed at helping Chinese companies to mitigate overseas agricultural investment risks and secure investment sustainability.
Under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, China will further advance agricultural cooperation with relevant countries in an attempt to form a new pattern of agricultural international cooperation and achieve economic mutual benefit and win-win results among countries along the Belt and Road, according to the guideline.
