BEIJING, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (Chalco) (601600.SH) achieved net profit of 1.361 billion yuan (196 million U.S. dollars approximately) in the first half of 2018, up 10.58 percent year on year, according to a report released by the company on Wednesday.
The report also shows that in the first half of the year, Chalco achieved operating revenue of 82.1 billion yuan (about 11.84 billion U.S. dollars). Its total profit stood at 1.93 billion yuan (278 million U.S. dollars approximately), an increase of 22 percent year on year.
In particular, the company achieved an operating net cash flow of 6.74 billion yuan (about 972 million U.S. dollars), a record high in the past five years. (Edited by Li Wenxin, duanjing@xinhua.org)
