BEIJING, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) will study and formulate policies and measures to promote the high-quality development of the software industry, according to Wang Xinzhe, chief economist of the MIIT at the recent “Trusted Cloud Summit” held in Beijing.
Wang said that the MIIT will accelerate the development of new-generation information technologies such as cloud computing and comprehensively promote their deep integration with the real economy.
The ministry will promote application of the cloud computing in fields such as industrial internet, e-government, bank insurance and rail transit, accelerate the use of 5G technology for commercial purpose, and facilitate innovative development of the cloud computing and big data, Wang added.
