SHENYANG, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- A new flight linking Shenyang, capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province, with Los Angeles will be launched in December.
Tickets for the flight went on sale from Friday.
The route will be run by China Southern Airlines and officially launch on December 18.
An Airbus 330 is scheduled to depart from Shenyang at 1:20 a.m. and will arrive in Los Angeles at 9 p.m. local time every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The return flight will take off at 12:40 a.m. local time and arrive in Shenyang at 5:10 a.m.
The direct flight can save 4 hours and 6.5 hours by transferring flights in Beijing and Seoul, respectively.
