BEIJING, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- The first China-Europe cargo train line to Italy's Milan has recently been launched in Yanzhou District, Jining City in east China’s Shandong Province.
The journey from Yanzhou to Milan is about 10,900 kilometers and will take about 18 days.
The launch of the train line will promote trade exchanges between inland areas in Shandong and the European countries and effectively shorten the customs clearance time of the enterprises and help them reduce operating costs. (Edited by Hu Pingchao, hupingchao@xinhua.org)
