15 diesel locomotives made in China delivered to New Zealand -- CRRC Dalian Co. Ltd. announced on July 31 that 15 diesel locomotives made by the company has finished packaging, marking the successful delivery of the fourth batch of products exported to New Zealand. In 2009, CRRC Dalian inked a contract with New Zealand to offer 20 sets of locomotives to the country. Since then, it has delivered 48 sets in total. The fourth batch of locomotives boasts a maximum power of 2,700 kw and a maximum speed of 100 km per hour.
Client Service International buys 67.15pct stakes of S. Korean company SUNJESOFT -- Client Service International, Inc. (300663.SZ) announced on Aug.1 that its Hong Kong subsidiary planned to purchase 67.15 percent stakes in the South Korean company SUNJESOFT with 73 million yuan. According to the announcement, the purchase movement aims to provide a blueprint for the overall solution business plan including database products for customers, in line with the company's strategic positioning to expand the domestic distributed in-memory database market, and extend the industrial chain to the upstream database basic software.
Beijing Kunlun Tech (300418.SZ)'s joint-stock company debuts on Nasdaq -- Beijing Kunlun Tech Co., Ltd (300418.SZ) announced that its joint-stock company Opera Limited was listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange on July 27, with offering price at 12 U.S. dollars per share. According to a company filing, Beijing Kunlun Tech Co., Ltd will hold 96 million shares via its subsidiary in Hong Kong, accounting for 43.7 percent of the total capital stock of Opera Limited after the issuance.
China Southern Airlines opens Ho Chi Minh City-Wuhan direct flight -- China Southern Airlines announced Friday to launch direct flight from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to Wuhan, the capital city of central China’s Hubei province. The direct route, flying daily, would be carried out by Boeing 738-MAX. This is China Southern Airlines's sixth international route from Ho Chi Minh City after its previous routes linking Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing and Chongqing, according to Cui Heng, general manager of China Southern Airlines' Ho Chi Minh office. On average, China Southern Airlines has 18 flights every day from Vietnam to China.
China's automotive transaction platform Cango listed on NYSE -- China's automotive transaction service platform Cango officially made a debut on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on July 26 under the stock code of “CANG”. The company priced its initial public offering (IPO) at 11 U.S. dollars for each American depository share and finally raised 44 million U.S. dollars. The company said in the prospectus that nearly 38,000 car dealers, 11 third-party financial institutions and more than 730,000 car consumers have registered on its network platform as of March 31 this year.
Shandong Head, Knauf inks 7,000t cellulose ether supply contract -- Shandong Head Co., Ltd. (002810.SZ) announced on July 27 that it had inked deals with Germany's Knauf to supply the latter with cellulose ether from July 1 of 2018 to December 31 of 2019. Shandong Head's earlier announcements showed that the company planned to supply cellulose ether of 4,000 metric tons (tonnes) to French Saint-Gobain and 7,000 tonnes to Knauf during above-mentioned period. UnionPay inks MOU with Standard Bank -- China's UnionPay International and Standard Bank of South Africa inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on July 23 in Johannesburg. The cooperation is expected to further advance the smooth flow of payments between China and Africa as well as promote trade and people exchanges, according to Ge Huayong, chairman with China UnionPay. UnionPay will also cooperate with local institutions to accelerate the development of innovative products such as UnionPay QR Code and UnionPay cross-border B2B payment platform based on characteristics of local payment industry and consumer needs to achieve low cost and wide access finance that benefit African countries.
