BEIJING, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- A 50-carriage train on July 31 left Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei province for Duisburg in Germany, where some of the carriages and cargo will continue to head for London, marking the first freight train service linking Wuhan and London.
The journey from Wuhan to London is expected to take around 22 days.
It is noted that this train is the 90th international freight train set off from Wuhan. After the launch of a rail link between Wuhan and Lyon in France, this is the another extension of China-Europe freight train (Wuhan) lines. (Edited by Yang Yifan, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
