BEIJING, July 26 (Xinhua) -- Trade volume between Kyrgyzstan and China totaled 910 million U.S. dollars in the first five months of 2018, up 59.2 percent year on year, according to data released by national statistical committee of Kyrgyzstan, quoted by China's Ministry of Commerce on its website.
This included 28.8 million U.S. dollars worth of Kyrgyzstan exports to China, down 29.6 percent on year, and 881.2 million U.S. dollars worth of imports from China, up 66.1 percent on year.
China is Kyrgyzstan's largest trading partner (accounting for 33.5 percent) and the largest source of imports (43.3 percent). Kyrgyzstan’s trade deficit with China was 852.4 million U.S. dollars. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
