BEIJING, July 24 (Xinhua) -- Japan's Fuji-Q Highland park will officially introduce Chinese mobile payment platform Tencent’s Wechat Pay.
Visitors can use Wechat to buy tickets or pay for their purchase, covering all facilities and services including amusement ticket, souvenir retail, catering, etc.
At the same time, the park will roll out Wechat applets to provide services such as online ticket purchase, Chinese map, and inquiry service for checking how long queues are.
Li Peiku, vice president of WeChat Pay and head of cross-border business, said that WeChat Pay will further promote its smart marketing solution into the overseas market and at the same time join hands with overseas merchants to provide Chinese tourists with a smart and convenient consumer experience.
