BEIJING, July 6 (Xinhua) -- The New Clark City expressway project in the Philippines undertaken by China’s CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. recently started construction.
A consortium formed by CCCC Third Harbor Engineering and local construction companies won the bid for the project, with a total contract value of about 115 million yuan and a construction period of 540 days.
The project is located in New Clark City, central Luzon Island of the Philippines. The expressway is 12.05 kilometers long and the main construction contents include building the subgrade, 10 bridges and a toll station.
