BEIJING, July 5 (Xinhua) -- China Railway Group Limited announced recently that its subsidiary China Railway No.8 Engineering Group Co. had won a bid for section MMZQ-1 of before-station construction project of sections under initial construction of the new Mile-Mengzi railway (adjustment).
The contract value of the project is about 855 million yuan.
The Mile-Mengzi Railway starts from Mile station, which sits on the Nanning-Kunming Railway. It runs south through stations at the cities of Mile and Kaiyuan before terminating at Mengzi. The Mile-Mengzi Railway is an important part of the southwest China’s outbound channel to Vietnam and other ASEAN states.
